Unable to get assets aligned

I’m trying to build a rather basic object, flat plane with a column in the corner. However I can’t seem to get the column to align to the edge of the ground plane. I’ve got snap to grid enabled and tried Ctrl + End, I’ve also tried snap sizes of 1, 5, and 10. The best I can get is as seen in the picture below. Why won’t this line up and how do I make it line up.

P.S. I’ve also tried the above on the ground plane in case it wasn’t centred on the grid.

Hey -

From what I can tell based on your images it would seem that the box brushes you’re using are not sized to fit the scale. One option that works well is to set the size of your box in increments of 20 (20x20x240). With your grid snap set to 10, you should have an easier time aligning objects.
