I expect to be able to find purchased assets in the library
Observed Result
the assets are unable to be found in my library on the web portal or in my Epic launcher Fab Library, preventing me from adding them to a project
Platform
both the web browser and epic launcher
Operating System
windows 10
Additional Notes
I have been using the Unreal marketplace for years and have a lot of assets - now Im concerned that I need to go back through all my receipts and verify that my assets are in fact in my library still. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for a portal that is supposed to be a library of purchased content.
Maybe you are affected by the same bug that I have experienced. Their API seems to return chuncks of 24 items that you have purchased but not sorted at all, it’s completly random. I have a lot of assets of the same publisher, each page refresh is a lottery which ones I will see but it is limited to a specific amount so there is always an incomplete list returned by their backend.
My article is one year old:
It is kind of sad that such a big company can’t fix a bug that a junior developer could do
