Unable to download Unreal Source from Github

I get a 404 after linking my github and Epic accounts. I am unable to download the unreal source or rtc source at https://github.com/NvRTX/UnrealEngine/tree/nvrtx-5.1. I have tried unlinking restarting relinking and connecting with both the github and epic pages open in seperate tabs. I have also tried to in both the Edge and Firefox browsers. I suspect there is something wrong w/ my accounts but not sure who to contact w/ this.

Hey there @gregdowning! There was previously a bug that caused the approval email not to make it to you. Did you receive the email and did it verify it was successful? (You can check this by seeing if you are in the unreal engine github group).

Same happened to me - Associated my account to github, got the confirmation email from epic but never got the actual invitation on github. Any pointers?

Hey there @RobertGarcia! Welcome back to the community! So the first thing I’d recommend is removing association on the Unreal account side and the Github sides first, then follow the process again much like this thread here when there was a previous issue. It’s possible that the issue could be the auth on our account side however, and I’ve reported the possible issue internally if that fails.

Thats exactly the procedure I followed - 2 times already. The step 6 is the one that is not going trough, the github invite does not happen. All the other steps are ok.

Understandable! I’ll let you know when I have more information on my side!

I got a verification email that the accounts were linked. Is that the same thing? I don’t see groups listed anywhere in my profile. If I go to Epic Games (github.com) and click on people I do not see my profile listed. Where should I be looking for this?

You can check your organizations by opening your profile in the top right, then head to organizations, and look for this one:

That’s actually where I believe the issue lies with the organization link workflow.

I think you are right. There was nothing for organizations. I added one for myself. How do I add EpicGames?

It’s actually an automated function on the backend once the accounts are linked, if you didn’t get an invitation to the group as described in the post, that’s probably where the issue lies on our side.

Thanks for the info. I did not recieve the invitation. What can be done?

For the moment I’ve reported this to an internal team and hopefully the issue is the same as the older issues and they can sort it. I may have more information in the coming days on this!

OK, thank you very much. I was hoping to have an NvRTX version for a project on Monday. Any chance of getting it fixed earlier?

I’m unaware of the team that handle’s the Github integration’s hours, so I’m not sure on that one. I’d probably lean for later in the weak in most cases, but if I get more information in the meantime I’ll update you!

I also am not receiving any invite to the EpicGames organization on Github after linking my epic and github accounts.

Same here. Is there any other source for these files? This is time sensitive.

Same issue here!

Any news on this? Still unable to get access.

Anyone who was having trouble - did you managed to get access?

Unfortunately, no. The best I could do was confirm with support that they’re aware of an issue with GitHub invitations and are working on it. No estimates on time to resolve though.

I’ve seen some people on the forums offering to supply the source code to their fellow forum members. Doesn’t seem to break licensing terms if they offer the source privately and only to forum members, but without being able to compare it to GitHub source, that seems a bit risky.
