Unable to create a Game Feature Plugin

Good day. I have enabled the Game Features and the Modular Gameplay plugins, and restarted Unreal. Then I fixed the error by clicking the link to create the required asset. Now, if I go into Plugins to create a new Game Feature plugin, I cannot do this, the Create Plugin button remains disabled. I am also getting the error message ‘Game features must be inside the Plugins/GameFeatures folder’, although of course my path does specify that folder. If I click in the Path textbox and then the Plugin Name textbox, the message disappears. But no matter what I do, the Create Plugin button stays disabled.

I have restarted, I have verified my UE5 installation, I have disabled and re-enabled the plugins.

Am I doing something wrong?

Here is a short video showing the issue:

Thanks.

For anyone else experiencing this, I have found a fix. I had to manually create the ‘GameFeatures’ folder underneath the ‘Plugins’ folder, for some reason UE5 did not create this folder automatically.

I did the same as a workaround. This must really be a bug in the engine.

Worked for me

Thanks, you’re a savior
