Unable to Consistently Acquire VIVE Tracker 3.0 Data in UE5.3.1 - Seeking Solutions

Hello everyone,

I am currently using VIVE Tracker 3.0 along with HTC base stations as my tracking equipment for virtual production. However, ever since the release of UE5.0, I have been unable to consistently acquire data from the VIVE Tracker via Live Link.

Problem Description:

  1. In UE5.0-5.3.0, I could only acquire VIVE Tracker data by using the CMD command UnrealEditor -xrtrackingonly.
  2. Upon upgrading to UE5.3.1, even this method has become ineffective.
  3. I have tried enabling the built-in Tracker plugin within the engine, but to no avail.

My Needs:

  1. I require a stable and reliable method to acquire data from the VIVE Tracker.
  2. I wish to avoid wasting more time on this issue or having to purchase more advanced equipment.

My Questions:

  1. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?
  2. Are there any stable and reliable solutions?
  3. If there is an official solution, could you please provide it?

I greatly appreciate any advice or solutions that can help me resolve this issue.

Have you solved your problem, friend? I have searched for the tracker using UE5.3.2, but only once and will not be able to find it again in the future, giving me a very random feeling.
