Unable to connect to the server upon login

So I posted this on AnswerHub, but haven’t hard back: Launcher can't connect to the server - Getting Started - Unreal Engine Forums

Has anyone else been experiencing this issue ?

I had same problem some time back. Turned out that it was Bitdefender that was preventing the launcher on my computer from accessing the internet. Reinstalling Bitdefender only fixed the problem for a day or two and changing settings also did not help. What fixed the problem permanently for me was adding -http=wininet behind the target as per the instructions here:
