Hello everyone,
I’m working on a facial animation pipeline in Unreal Engine 5.6 (Windows). The following parts of my workflow are working correctly:
• Adding the character to the level
• Facial Animation with webcam
• Facial Animation with audio only
However, I cannot connect my iPhone (Live Link Face) to my PC / Unreal.
What I’ve confirmed / tried
• All required plugins are enabled (Live Link, Live Link Face, Apple ARKit, Apple ARKit Face Support)
• iPhone and PC are on the same network/subnet
• I followed multiple tutorials step-by-step and repeated the setup several times
• I tried both Unreal’s Live Link panel and Live Link Hub
• I manually entered the PC IP address in Live Link Face
• I checked iOS permissions (Local Network, Camera, Microphone)
• I restarted Unreal and the devices after changes
Issue
Even though the webcam and audio-only workflows work, the iPhone workflow does not: the iPhone does not connect / stream properly to Unreal.
