Unable to build for Mac in UE 5.1.1 - Automation Tool and Turnkey issues

Hi

I have UE5.1.1 installed from Launcher on a MacOS Monterey 12.6.1.

Everytime I try to package my project, I get the same errors:

UATHelper: Cooking (Mac): RunUAT ERROR: AutomationTool was unable to run successfully. Exited with code: 25

Also, the “platforms” dropdown shows me that Turnkey hasn’t been able to auto detect SDK for Mac, although I have XCode 14.0 installed and UE recognizes it (apparently only Turnkey is not able to find the SDK).

Also, XCode 14.0 is compatible with UE5.1.1.

Any ideas on how I may proceed?

I had similar problems with the Version built from Source. Make sure that in the Package Project Menu, Binary Configuration and Build Configuration, inside Packaging Settings, are set to the same thing. Also under Packaging, make sure both settings for Supported Architecture(s) is set to Universal.

If none of that works, I would really recommend using the Binary version from the Epic Store, works flawlessly and is Native now.
