Unable to assign materials to the Megascans Link with Bridge plugin

Hi there,

So, I’ve been trying to use the Quixel Bridge with Unreal Engine for about 3 hours now. I’ve got the Bridge setup, and my materials are importing to my Unreal project, but it seems that I can’t add them to the plugin to have them blend together.

I’ve tried dragging materials onto the different override boxes, searching for them with the dropdown, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why my material instances don’t assign themself to the box.

In the above screenshot, when I drop the material onto the box, it only gives me that red outline, and then disappears after releasing my mouse.
I’ve searched all over YouTube and Google, even checked the Quixel Support pages but I can’t seem to find any assistance with this issue.

If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you manage to find a solution to this? Im having a similar issue, Its probably something simple we’re overlooking
