Unable to add assets from quixel (now at fab.com) to my project

Hey there @karyuv88! Welcome to the community! If you’re using the web client, you will only see the Download and View in My Library buttons, as the Add to Project button is only available inside of the plugin in engine. If you’re downloading from the webpage, you’ll have two options: FBX and GLTF. In either case you should be able to import them by dragging them from your file system location to the content browser. (Though for the GLTF file you may need to enable the GLTF importer plugin)

Looks like the gLTF file format solves all these issues, and you can import the entire asset including materials etc as one file that is automatically set up in UE. You will need to enable the gLTF importer plugin in UE but it should work after that.
