Is this somehow not supported? I followed all the steps listed to enable Metahuman, however the menu in the app only shows two items regarding Capture Data, but no menu item for Creator. Is this a bug, or is Metahuman not available on Mac?
Yes, not supported at the moment unfortunately and no ETA or timeline from Epic on when this may become available which is a huge shame as the web creator no longer exists either. Bad support for Mac users.

Unfortunately, as confirmed by James Pullan from the Epic staff, MetaHuman Creator is not currently supported on macOS. It is only officially available for Windows, according to the published minimum requirements.
But a user mentioned that on Mac, you can download 5.5 and below MetaHumans using Quixel Bridge, and then just search their name in the browser and the BP file is the character as exported from Quixel Bridge.
