Hello everybody,
not sure why, but haven’t posted anything here so far. Well, better late than never they say!
Fresh start with a personal project I was working on lately, exploiting all the power of 5.4
I post also some single shots here, if you like for more you can visit my artstation post: ArtStation - Forgotten Realms
I think I will maybe share some more in depth breakdown there in the future

Hi there @Stefano_Cardia,
Welcome to the Unreal Engine forums! It’s so nice to see a new face around here. Glad you decided to share your art!
As a devout fantasy-nerd this environment feels incredibly similar to Lord of the Rings combined with Elden Ring. The grandness of the temple feels so polished and fantastical. Do you happen to have other scenes like this that I can fan over?

Hey there, thanks for your kind words! Yes indeed I took inspiration from elden ring (actually I am a big fan of the whole dark souls series). It all started as a practice on procedural modeling combined to sculpting in blender, that’s why the building is so detailed, each piece is actual geometry no displacement, No baked maps (except for AO) and then straight into unreal exploiting nanite.
Eventually I think I will do some more of these fantasy takes from now on cause I enjoyed very much the whole process so stay tuned & check my artstation or youtube if you like thanks again

Hello there @Stefano_Cardia ! Welcome to posting with us here on the forums!
I’ve been playing a lot of Dragon’s Dogma 2 recently and this reminds me of some of the hidden architecture that you can find within the game. This looks amazing and like it could be straight from the game. Your creativity and dedication is astonishing as the detailing on this is beautiful.
How long did it take you to complete this?

Hi there, thanks a lot for the comment, yes definitely there was some DD2 background in my head while doing this. Actually I tried to combine various type of old architecture techniques (as I think they did while developing environments of the game), like if it was some sort of ancient civilization that gave inspiration to the various building styles we know - especially around the mediterranean area.
It was a project I started in May but I had to stop for a while, so I would say it took around 10 days to 2 weeks to gather references and model the building, and another one to assemble everything in Unreal
