Great! This is a good solution! My widgets look sharp now.
Having the same problem.
Just want to draw simple text on my VR HMD but it has ugly jaggies on it. It is just basic text that looks really really ugly so I don’t want to think about how ugly a complex VR game menu would look like with UMG widgets in 3D space.
However, when you put your widget into an actor bp, you can specify in the User Interface category the space parameter. If you set this parameter from world to screen it looks okay. It’s no proper solution for game menus, though. Is there a proper way to build a 3D game menu?
I have similar issue but cant get it to fix, can someone please explain the trick here. I have tried scaling the widget component, setting different draw size, creating all sorts of widget combinations but nothing seems to work…
Ok it’s very good technic, but if use it in Gear VR - scale down gives aliasing artefact (yes I can play with aliasing settings - but it’s not desirable workaround). Can you set issue for 3D widget that not make blurry widget? (4.18)
