UMG Widget Rendering Issue

Hi ,
Thanks for taking a look. This image says it all:
You are looking at a sprite on the left and a UMG widget in an actor blueprint on the right. They use the exact same texture.

Why is the 3D UMG widget rendering this texture so poorly, whereas the sprite rendering is crisp and clean?

As has been previously mentioned I have a project with many 3D UMG widgets. They need to be UMG because they are interactive touch screens in 3D space. Regardless of what texture settings I change the images are always very poor quality when viewed through the 3D widget.

If it would help I can send you a private message with a video showing the problem. My company would appreciate any help we can get on this. Our client is a large medical equipment provider and the fidelity of these graphics is important. Thanks for your time.
