UMG Widget Disappearing Outside of Camera View

Hey guys,

Quick question, I have followed the tutorial here:

Which I’ve got working and using in order to display some basic target information for actors in front of the player, but when the camera moves beyond them and they are no longer in the field of view, the widget is removed from view ? Just wondering if this is a bug or I’ve set something up incorrectly?

You can see in the video what I mean, when the player rotates back around the target info is now gone, I’d like to be able to keep it there =)

Any help is always awesome!

You ignored the very top of the tutorial that says this tutorial is out of date, use the Widget component instead of trying to do this manually :slight_smile:

The reason it doesn’t reappear is hidden and collapsed widgets do not tick.
