UMG Minimap | Almost Plug and Play

also having this exact same issue. My minimap was working fine, then I updated it and now it’s having issues matching my player position. If I update the camera every frame I can see my projectiles in the proper position, but the blue dot on the minimap is off by a bit.

It seems to only happen on the X axis, and if X=0 then it’s bang on. but if I go over to X=10,000 or -10,000 it’s off by quite a bit. Something up with this update. Anything I draw on the map is off, not just my local player. I have flags, enemies, etc that I draw on my map and they’re all off.

It’s probably an issue with the “Event Driven Loader” that Epic enabled by default now even though it still has quite a few bugs. Can you try to disable that and see if it fixes the issue?

Can this work with World Composition.

As World Composition uses multiple levels joined up to form a large world map. how would UMG Mini Map handles these adjoined levels

Want this get any more updates or is it dead?

Are there any good alternatives to this one?

I am not familiar enough with world composition at the moment.

I will continue to update it to new engine versions whenever there’s a new engine version that breaks anything about it :slight_smile:
