UMG Bitmap Fonts

While developing my game, i realized i couldn’t use bitmap fonts in UMG, so i decided to make a widget that renders text using bitmap font generated with shoebox application (with a custom format).

It currently looks like this:

It’s a work in progress, currently only basic rendering works (but it respects the widget scale), i still need to implement correct kernings and text alignment.
I wanted to ask is there an interest in such blueprint?

I’m aiming for the $5-$10 price.

P.S. is there any way to paint a preview of UMG widget?

Only if the widget is in C++, we don’t currently execute any user blueprint code in the designer.

But if it’s in C++, i wouldn’t be able to publish it to the marketplace, right?

Yeah, that is currently the limitation :-/
