[UMG] 3D Widgets are replaced when a new Player joins a Session


I know 3D Widgets are experimental, but I haven’t found anything regarding this Issue, so I’m not sure if this is kown or “by design”.

I have a 3D Widget as a component of a replicated actor, whenever a new player joins, all existing actors stay the same and new ones are added for the new player. However the 3D Widgets attached to the existing actors are replaced by completely new ones with the default values.

If this is “by design” I guess I have to store everything in variables and call them for the Widget on begin play?

I was unable to reproduce this issue on our end. I have a few questions that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. What version of the engine are you using?
  2. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  3. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  4. Could you provide a screen shot of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?
