Ultra Zombies on Wheels - Kart Racing Madness!

Hey everyone! We’re Killabunnies, an indie game studio with over 15 years of experience in the gaming industry, and we’re super excited to share an update on one of our latest projects, Ultra Zombies on Wheels! It’s a fast-paced kart racing game packed with chaotic zombie fun and multiplayer modes, built with Unreal Engine.

A lot of the core development is already completed, including working online and local multiplayer modes, and we’re now pushing forward with finishing touches to the game. We’re currently working on polishing music, sound effects, lighting, and rebuilding some character animations and geometry. Our goal is to make this game as polished and exciting as possible!

Right now, we’re seeking a publishing partner to help us take Ultra Zombies on Wheels to the next level. Specifically, we want to create at least 10 more courses to amp up the variety and replayability. We’ve got big plans, and with the right support, we’re confident this game will bring tons of fun to players!

For those who don’t know us, Killabunnies is an indie studio from Argentina. We’ve been developing games for over a decade, working with awesome partners like Lego, Disney, and Warner Bros Games. Our team has deep experience in Unreal Engine and multiplayer design, and we’ve been working hard to deliver something really special with Ultra Zombies on Wheels.

We’d love to hear what you think about the game and connect with anyone interested in helping us bring Ultra Zombies on Wheels to players worldwide! Stay tuned for more updates and thanks for being part of our journey!

Love the concept. Not trying to sound pedantic but it looks like it has a variety of monsters, so maybe Monsters on Wheels would fit better?

It would be amusing/fitting if the actual zombie driver was like “easy” mode and had auto drive since they’re usually mindless. Similar to Mario Karts auto driving mode.

super cool.would like to see more

The game is based on an IP we have licenced called Ultra Zombies, they are big in Argentina and fairly well known in Latin America, having already landed in spain and other european countries.

They are aiming to go world wide eventually, we are planning to coordinate our launch with their IP expansion to synergize

Yo can check some products of the IP here:

Hello @MarianoObeid !

This is such a lovely little racing game. It very much reminds me of 2010’s stylistic design. Even the way the character squishes when landing just brings the whole idea together for me. If I may ask, do you think there will be more zombie pun themed tracks in the future?

Yes, the whole IP has a vast world that includes a zombie carnival, a graveyard, some cities, etc.

For example you can watch some webisodes of the IP here:

Thank you for sharing that with me @MarianoObeid !

I will say I enjoy the short-form videos that tell this story. I also love how you’re able to tell these in a short form with no words. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this IP. Thank you again for sharing!
