Ultra-realistic 8k metahuman rendering(this is a job offer)

Important:
In the first stage, the character will be created only from the shoulders up (head, neck, shoulders).
Full body development may be considered in later stages, but this project’s scope is strictly upper body only.

I’m looking for a highly skilled MetaHuman artist and technical integrator to create an ultra-realistic, emotionally expressive character based on a fictional but believable face — not tied to any real person.

This character will be used in a cinematic storytelling project, so the emphasis is on maximum realism, lifelike facial expression, and true-to-life technical quality.

Scope of Work:
Design and build a completely custom MetaHuman character (shoulders up only, no full body) from scratch — not a scanned person — with full photorealistic human believability.

Deliver fully rigged, optimized, and ready for Unreal Engine 5.7.

Ensure facial mocap compatibility with Live Link Face (iPhone 16 Pro Max) and/or Faceware Studio.

Character must be functional in both real-time streaming (OBS) and cinematic rendering.

All textures must be in 8K resolution.

Shaders must be created and optimized in 8K with RTX-level shading, ensuring maximum photorealism.

Hair strands must be individually modeled (strand-by-strand detail) with physics simulation compatibility (Chaos Physics / Groom asset physics) for natural motion.

Every technical parameter must be tuned to match the closest possible values to a real human within Unreal Engine 5.7.

Must work at cinematic quality with ray tracing enabled while still maintaining real-time capability.

Real-time & Streaming Requirement:
The character must run smoothly in real-time within Unreal Engine 5.7 at 60 FPS or higher with RTX features enabled.

Must be fully compatible with OBS or similar broadcasting tools for live streaming without any loss of visual quality.

All hair physics, facial mocap, and shading must remain intact during real-time operation.

Optimized LODs and shading performance for sustained streaming sessions.

Technical Quality Requirements:
Textures: 8K resolution for all maps (Base Color, Normal, Roughness, Subsurface, Specular, AO, Displacement).

Shaders: Custom 8K shaders optimized for RTX ray tracing.

Hair: Custom Groom asset, strand-level fidelity, physics-ready for natural movement.

Skin: Accurate subsurface scattering, microdetail normal maps, and realistic roughness values.

Rigging: Fully compliant with MetaHuman skeleton for perfect mocap retargeting.

Facial Expressions: Must achieve high emotional range without distortion or artifacts.

Final Render Expectation: The quality must be equal to or greater than the reference videos provided below.

Delivery Expectations:
Maximum Delivery Time: 25 days from contract start.

Progress Updates: Daily progress updates are required, including screenshots, short test renders, or videos showing the quality and realism achieved that day.

Test Footage: Artist must provide a short UE5.7 render showing facial mocap performance before final delivery.

Final Delivery Includes:

MetaHuman Asset (.metahuman / UE project file)

Groom Hair Asset (strand-based, physics-ready)

All texture maps in 8K

Custom shaders and materials used

Physics and lighting setup within UE5.7

Rights & Ownership:
All rights to the final character, assets, textures, and shaders will be transferred to the client upon delivery.

The artist will not use any part of the work in other projects without written permission from the client.

Revision Guarantee:
If the delivered work does not meet the defined technical and visual standards, revisions will be made at no additional cost within the agreed delivery timeframe until the required quality is achieved.

I Will Provide:
Descriptions and creative background for the character.

Technical environment info (Unreal Engine 5.7 project setup, iPhone 16 Pro Max with Live Link Face app).

Cinematic and visual style references.

Preferred Skills:
Expert in MetaHuman Creator and Unreal Engine 5.7.

Proven experience with facial mocap workflows (ARKit, Faceware, etc.).

Strong artistic ability to design unique yet realistic faces.

Ability to optimize for both cinematic rendering and real-time streaming.

Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with OBS or streaming tools.

Skilled in mocap retargeting for MetaHuman.

Understanding of UE5 physics and hair simulation systems.
