Ultra Dynamic Weather snow interaction for non landscape meshes

Hi, I’m new to Unreal and now experimenting on Ultra dynamic weather and sky system.

Looking on how to get a character interact with a non landscape plane(BG), tried by using the surface weather material function and added foot locaters as mentioned in doc and tutorials but doesn’t worked.

The function works well over a landscape plane but not over an FBX static mesh or on a geo imported from Maya or other 3D software.

any solution for this is much appreciated.
