for those who don’t know, here it is. for unreal 5.4 or I expect older aswell, just not tested by me. for those wanting to run unreal 5 on a laptop with older say ATI drivers most laptops have. so with fxaa set to fast, msaa set none, and then SM5 or SM6 DX12 no ray trace , render setting forward rendering setting, low setting for shaders and still set to high in engine scalability and everything else pretty much standard settings. but the FXAA and MXAA made biggest speed up , fix up for me. so how to get there or find the setting , go to project setting, than rendering tab, than look for default settings. look for Anti-aliasing method, set that to Fastxxx, and msaa set to none. that’s it.
