UI scaling on Windows when DPI > 100% is broken.

Text and UI elements are big but with low resolution, including the viewport.

It makes it impossible to use Twinmotion on high resolution displays. I have to choose between tiny text/buttons or low-resolution viewport

Hello ,

Thanks for mentioning this. I just tested this on my end and got the same results as you.

I've reported this internally to be looked into and worked on.

Thank you. I hope this issue will get a top priority since using high-DPI displays is relatively popular among graphic designers/architects and this bug overshadow the beauty of Twinmotion and Unreal Engine.

I have exactly the same issue.

I'm using Twinmotion 2023.1 on Windows 10 with a 27-inch 4K display.

My Windows scaling setting is set to 150% (default).

This gives the comfortable size in all applications I use like Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Vegas Pro, and Cubase.

But in Twinmotion the interface and text are too small, which makes it very uncomfortable to work with.

I have to lean into my monitor to see the text...

Please fix this!

2023 is not scaling text and icons and therefor is not working with 4K display. Scalability version 2022 works fine. I hope this will be fixed soon.

same status over here. 2023 menu fonts are not scaling in Windows 11. Super frustrating for all 4k users.

Same thing here. I have pretty serious rendering build with RTX3090ti, four monitors, 2 Samsung 4Ks and 2 Dell 1920 x 1080s. Works fine on the two HDs but still definitely not on the 2 4K's. Is there a fix yet or workaround? In the meantime, I will keep using TM 2022.2. Under properties, like in my older versions of Adobe Photoshop CS6, there is a compatibility mode to change high DPI settings. But not in TM. Annoying for now, but just burning time, hopefully this will be fixed over time.

Hi everyone,

We've got a UI overhaul coming in our next update, 2023.1 Preview 2, which should address UI scaling issues. Please download and try out the new update when it releases very soon.

Best,
