UI Material

hello , does any one now how to use glass material effect for UMG ? I have a compass i want to add glass effect to it .

Hey there @meran-99! So glass in the tradition sense, is done with a PBR material, that reacts to light and refracts things through it. However UMG can’t, when it comes to UI it’s not something inside the game world, it’s just rendered and overlaid onto it. So the question more becomes, what qualities of glass are you trying to replicate?

Were you ever able to solve this problem? I’m trying to create a glassmorphic 3D menu that is in the game world (not UMG). Thanks!
