I just realized my UI looks horrible at lower resolutions like 720p. Out of the box, Unreal seems to come set up for 1920x1080 as the 1x main resolution.
I’m considering modifying my DPI curve settings to have 720 be the 1x instead of 1080 though I’m not sure if this is what other people may recommend for fixing this, or what general practices are for supporting PC games with arbitrary resolutions.
When you have UI with thin lines and smallish text, it all falls apart when it starts downscaling for 720p. Considering we have things like Steam Deck and some consoles may also be 720p, it seems essential to support 720p at minimum nowadays.
I did actually find this article so maybe it’s the way to go after all.
