The atlas size is still 1024x1024, it takes up 1 megabyte space, and each sprite from it is about 30 kilobytes … And if I upload each picture separately 64x64, then it takes about 15 kilobytes, which seems to be less resource intensive? But everywhere they say that atlases are cheaper … I’m confused. Because I will have a lot of things in the inventory in the game, with which I also make icons, I would like to do it right. Since I suffer with sprites.
