UGS Metadata server delpoy 404 error

I follow the tourial on github, becuase the offical ducument is too easy.
Everything is ok, except the last step, visit the http://localhost/MetadataServer/api/latest
memo/MetadataServerMemo.md at master · p4misc/memo (github.com)

Here is my error.

【Update 04/11】
I fixed this bug because of the sql version mismatch.

But not, I meet another error, when I leave the comment for the change list.
Another people will call follow request.
But the
LatestData initialIds = await RestApi.GetAsync($“{_apiUrl}/api/latest?project={_project}”, cancellationToken);

It will return this 404 error.

Greetings @NicoNicoNi007

I’m seeing the same error or the page not loading. It could be a problem with the web server on GitHub itself or something specific to the page.

ok, finally I found the reason, the SQL version is mismatch, which lead to this bug.
Now, My metadata server is work correctly.

Oh, I see! You were able to get everything working properly then?

Yes, everything is work properly now

I try to deploy the server and install the new version of UGS with new code. It work now!

Awesome! I’m glad to hear that you were able to get it working! Have a good week!

Hi @NicoNicoNi007 ,
Sorry to dig this out a year after, but I’m curious about the mismatch issue you had.
It’s a mismatch between what files? MySql.Data.dll and the version of the server?
Thanks.

In case it helps future users, the issue I had was related to the service user created in MySQL server.
The access rights were too restrictive.
These seems to be fine enough for the appto work:

To help troubleshoot with local debug, remember to set a breakpoint in the catch section of Global.asax.cs. There, you’ll get more details of what the problem is.

It will be more accurate than that ominous error 404.
