So, I’ve got a problem. We used Reality Capture to create a mesh. It’s fairly small (11MB) and I’d planned on using it for the ground for my island for the MegaJam. Unfortunately, the render looks nothing like the scan in UEFN. It looks pretty good in UE (Screenshots attached) so I tried migrating the asset from UE to UEFN. It looks terrible in UEFN. Is there a way to get the quality of render I’m getting in UE in UEFN? Is there some limitation that I can work around by doing the migration differently? What are the differences in materials between the two engines that could cause this?
I apologize for not being very well versed in the graphics side here, but I had hoped that this would ‘just work’ and it did in a couple other cases.
Note: This is a poly count issue. The model in question is 300k tris, cutting it to 58k fixed the issue.
