Hi everyone,
Since the v41.10 update, we are completely blocked from working on our team project. Here is our setup and the issue we are facing:
- Host: Me (on PC running UEFN).
- Teammate: My team owner/leader. His PC is currently broken, so he is trying to join the Live Edit session from his Console.
- Project Sync: We share the project files using Astra Studio.
The Issue:
Every time I launch a Live Edit session from UEFN and he tries to join my Fortnite party to test, he gets the error message: “Failed to join party” (Impossible de rejoindre ce groupe) in a loop.
On top of that, because of this local rights desynchronization introduced in v41.10, we are also restricted from generating private versions or publishing the map. The options are blocked or throw errors, even though we are officially in the same Team on the Creator Portal.
What we already tried:
- Completely restarted UEFN, Epic Launcher, and the Console.
- Formed the party in the Fortnite lobby before launching UEFN (Reverse Lobby method).
- Verified all social privacy settings and team roles on the Creator Portal.
It seems the matchmaking server rejects the console player because the Astra Studio files only sit on the host PC.
Has anyone found a workaround for this specific Astra Studio / Console matchmaking bug since the update? Any help from Epic staff would be greatly appreciated.
