In current-day creative, we are limited in displaying information, crafting systems, and tutorials, just to name a few. Maps currently display, for example, crafting systems with a large wall of conditions buttons which isn’t user-friendly and overwhelming for our players. In UEFN, if we could create custom UI elements in some basic form, this would change how our games are played and interacted with.

Hey folks, we ‘are’ planning to provide a simple custom UI layout API in Verse before the end of the year (fingers crossed). This would be using a library of pre-defined widgets. Assuming that goes to plan we’ll work to have creator defined widgets for early next year.
