Subject: Critical Technical Support Request: UEFN Installation Stalling at 24% and Launch Session Failure Despite Complete System Reinstallations
Hello Epic Games Support Team,
I am writing to reach out for urgent assistance regarding a persistent, critical technical issue I am facing with the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
While UEFN successfully installs and opens on my system, allowing me to view and modify my projects, I am completely blocked from entering or testing them due to two major roadblocks:
The Installation / Download Stalling Issue: Whenever an update or specific download asset package is required, the progress freezes precisely at 24% and remains stuck there for an extremely long time without making any further progress.
The “Launch Session” Failure: When I attempt to bypass this or trigger a launch session directly, the process behaves identically—it hangs indefinitely, preventing me from actually entering the session or testing my custom maps.
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:
To try and resolve this on my own, I have gone to extreme lengths. I have completely formatted my PC four separate times, performing clean system reinstalls from scratch, ensuring all drivers, Windows updates, and background services are completely fresh. Despite taking this drastic measure four times, the exact same issue persists without any change.
This is severely impacting my ability to work on my creative maps and development projects. Could you please investigate what might be causing this persistent bottleneck or check if there is an account-level or backend server sync issue preventing the files from downloading past 24%?
Thank you for your time, support, and dedication to helping me resolve this. I look forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Abu Saad
