Hello,
I am a UEFN creator and use Unreal Editor for Fortnite strictly for development and testing purposes related to my work.
I have recently received an account restriction due to alleged cheating.
However, I would like to clearly state that I have never used cheats or any unauthorized tools, neither in Fortnite nor in UEFN.
Because of this restriction:
- I cannot place Verse devices
- I cannot start sessions or test maps
- I cannot continue any UEFN-related development
As a result, my professional work has completely stopped.
I have already submitted an official appeal through Epic Support and am currently waiting for the investigation results.
While I understand the need for careful review, there is no temporary or provisional measure available for creators whose work depends on UEFN, which puts creators like myself in a very difficult position.
I am posting here not to bypass the process, but to raise awareness of the impact this has on legitimate UEFN developers when a restriction is applied during an ongoing investigation.
If any Epic staff or community members have experienced a similar situation, or if there is any official guidance for creators during the appeal review period, I would greatly appreciate the information.
