UEFN/CREATIVE CONCEPT - INDIVIDUAL CHANNELS/EVENTS

OK SO HERE IS THE CONCEPT!

Certain mechanics for example, entering a POI in a mini BR and receiving a welcome message ONLY once per player has always been rather tricky to achieve.

It can be accomplished through a variety/combination of in game devices however my concept would simplify mechanics like this into 1 reliable setting!

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS/DEVICES
So my concept essentially states, what if a player can send an individual event to a device, and the device then responds to that event INDIVIDUALLY.

For example in my previous idea, I stated a player entering a POI receives a message once.

What if, a mutator for example, had a “Send Individual Event when receiving from” option which essentially states when an individual player enters this zone, it sends to a hud message device, however the mutator would disable ONLY for that player.

This would then allow other players who have not discovered that POI to trigger the mutator, however the mutator would be in a disabled state for ONLY THE INDIVIDUAL players who have triggered it.

So overall, devices would be able to send
Individual events
Receive individual events
And respond to those events by enabling, disabling, triggering but only for that player.

Thus allowing devices to remain enabled, disabled or triggerable for others, whilst being disabled for players who have already used them.

Essentially creating a brand new state that a device can be in PER PLAYER, instead of for everyone.

A further example would be triggers.
Times can trigger.
Currently works universally, if 1 person triggers it the max number of times, it doesn’t allow other players to use it.

This concept could allow for a “Max INDIVIDUAL triggers” which would then disable it for that specific player, whilst remaining enabled for everyone else.

I truly think this could be a gamechanger for creative/uefn, especially 1.0 maps, and for those not yet accustomed to verse.

Please let me know what you think!

@Brandisnappy Thank you for your feedback. While I cannot guarantee a response, I can confirm that this has been forwarded to the appropriate team.

Thank you, this is much appreciated!

Good Idea for streamlining

Yeah, this would be so useful for streamlining development of complex mechanics, and for allowing 1.0 creators to make things like this super simply.
