UEFN Capture the Flag tutorial missing necessary details to Close Doors

There are missing details In the Direct Event Binding section and it caused a lot of confusion for me.

As written, the close door functionality doesn’t work. The tutorial is missing that you also need to use Direct Event Binding with the Trigger #3. Trigger #3 needs to have “On Triggered” triggers added for Trigger #1 and Trigger#2.

That part still confuses me…
It only mentioned Trigger and Red Lock.
Do I also need a door device to work with them to open and close?

Was there any update to this? Im having the same issue, after following the door tutorial with one lock and 3 triggers (one on each side of the door and a third trigger with the close delay set to 1 second) the close logic doesn’t work at all!

Are you sure you have connected the close trigger to the correct lock device?

Here is a screenshot of my spawn room:

LockDevice3 has Trigger1 and Trigger3 on either side of the door, I’ve configured these to use the Open event.
Trigger2 which is the leftmost trigger in the picture is set to the close event and Triggered by Player is false as per the tutorial.

Can you show me what triggers trigger2? and also try setting reset delay to 0

Sure, here are Trigger & Trigger2:

Lock3 has three triggers setup at the moment:
Trigger & Trigger 3 are either side of the door and use the Open event
Trigger 2 is the Close event trigger with:

  • Trigger by Player: false
  • Trigger delay: 1sec
  • Reset delay: 0 sec (thanks for this)

I see nothing can trigger trigger2 try making the other triggers to trigger it
