So far, I’ve only seen this problem occur when using the Prop-O-Matic gun to become a prop; Hunters don’t show any issues.
From what I understand, as an Island Creator and advanced Unreal Engine user, the character has a collision mesh of a predetermined size. However, becoming a prop disrupts this collision mesh, and when it’s reassigned to the character, it’s often incorrectly resized, probably larger than the original. This causes the player to get stuck when walking in relatively confined spaces, and the collision is recalculated, resulting in a visual “lag” effect.
