Bit of a minor feedback request, but would be nice when we double click the shortcut of UEFN to open the first time. Currently it would launch in the taskbar Epic Games Launcher and do nothing, so we have to double click, wait for an unknown amount of time then double click again for it to work.
Hi Wert,
I ended up creating my own shortcut directly to UEFN.
yourinstalldrive:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\UnrealEditorFortnite-Win64-Shipping.exe
This avoids the pain associated with the Epic Launcher. But, If there is an update, you’ll get server mismatch errors when trying to launch a session until you use the launcher to update.

Thanks, I ll update it then. Mine also doesn’t work when an update happens, so there is no point keeping the one from EGS anyway
