UEFN 22.20 Release (October 18th, 2022)

New Features:

Post Processing Volume

We’ve enabled Post Processing Volume in UEFN! In this release we’ve enabled a limited set of options.

Among them are:

  • Bloom
  • Chromatic Aberration
  • Lens Flares
  • Image Effects
  • Global Color Grading
  • Post Process Materials
  • Film Grain

Added bug issues reported:

  • Character Device

Bug Fixes

  • All Zones, including the Mutator Zone should now function correctly
  • Capture Area Device should now function as expected. You can now capture the area and the color will change appropriately.
  • Save Point Device should now work in Creative Edit.
  • Damage Volume placed in the editor should now damage the player.
  • Creature Spawner now spawns creatures correctly
  • Vehicle fuel was ignoring settings and was always infinite. This has been fixed.
  • After placing a prefab, the popup that shows when you delete the prop from the prefab should no longer occur.
  • Billboard Device - An issue where text was not visible in editor has been resolved
  • A user in Creative Edit will no longer be able to make edits when the UEFN editor is closed and/or disconnected. This will prevent them from making changes they think will save.
  • A fix has been integrated that addresses the latency and performance issues when building underwater
  • Fix for the editor freezing when setting the velocity on the ocean
  • An issue has been addressed where if you log out of UEFN while the editor while it is running, you could not log back in.
  • End Game Device - An issue has been fixed where the custom end game message would not display correctly.
  • Misc stability fixes
