Release notes for UEFN

Known Issues

  • Devices this release contain the following issues:
    • Save Point Device does not save or load player data
    • The Pop-up Dialogue Devices fails to obey character limits
    • Save Point, Timer, Switch and other devices do not Auto Save or Auto Load in Creative Edit
    • The Prop Manipulator does not function when populated in UEFN
    • Some devices do not save event bindings after ALT-Tabbing away from the Creative Edit client window.
    • The Trigger Devices does not activate correctly during phases
    • The Mutator Zone Device does not work in Creative Edit or Play sessions
    • “Register Player” event also triggers “Activate” and “Enable” event triggers in the Player Reference Device
  • Two Experience Settings Devices are spawning upon creation of a new level. Delete the Experience Settings device with the type of “MinigameSettingsMachine_C”.

Fixes

  • Trigger Device should now receive events from devices
  • Issues surrounding a Creative Edit session starting and the island not loading have been resolved
  • A server crash that was occurring when a Verse device had certain references has been fixed
  • An issue surrounding the Play button not appearing while in Creative Edit has been resolved
  • An issue where the Fortnite client would hang on a blank screen after refreshing the project has been resolved
  • In the Team Settings & Inventory Device, the “Don’t Override” options are now available
  • The Sentry Device will now spawn sentries during Creative Play
  • The texture dragging issue reported here has been fixed: (FIXED) Major - UEFN - Wrong texture gets added upon dragging into viewport
