UEDesktop - A free tool for managing UnrealEngine projects. Now supporting UE4 and UE5

UPDATED to 6.0…

I’ve just released the newest version of my desktop based management system for Unreal Engine projects. UEDesktop 6.0 has better window support, a complete overhaul of the icon system, better system menu and initial support for UEFN projects (can’t really support them yet, but at least it understands them). Check it out:

  • Most of the UI has been reworked in dark mode and with better functionality.
  • A new system for window management for clients and servers that automatically grids out your desktop and finds the best sizes.
  • Whole new game launcher and instance control panel
  • tons of little bug fixes and quality of life fixes.

UEDesktop places your projects right on the desktop and then gives you the control over them. Open the editor, play the game, generate project files and open the solution in Visual Studio. All from a context sensitive menu. New with 6.0 is an improved main menu

and game launcher

Thanks, I hope people find it useful. I know it get’s to be a pain to manage lots of projects at once. And just FYI: you can setup any number of custom launch scenarios for each project.

Just released a new version… so many improvements and fixes…
