UE5 Water System

Is there anywhere I can get a decent Ocean setup for the UE5 water system ? Surely someone has made a good ocean with foam and shoreline waves by now. Its painful trying to find tutorials and re inventing the wheel (Ocean) The water system has been out for ages now but Unreal have not made anything useful

My recommendation would to be just mix and mash different things together. I haven’t even been able to get the foam to work. I’ll give you some tips on what I’ve done to get things working somewhat. I use the Shadersource Tropical Ocean tool on the marketplace to add the rolling waves. He uses a blueprint, to add waves. I had to go into the material and used the Material function that allowed the use of it to work. However, I can’t get foam to work to save my life. Once I get off work, I’ll post some pictures of how I set it up if it will help.

https://blueprintue.com/blueprint/rklzh_qa/I created this for anyone who wants to have decent looking shore waves. It goes into the Set Wave Attributes node after the Normal Maps Section. Kind of hard to see I know. But, it actually works really well. It requires mesh distance fields to be enabled, and landscape to affect distance field lighting. I have attached the blueprints code for the logic from blueprintue for everyone. :slight_smile: If this works for you, please share it. This has been a big topic for a lot of people.
