UE5 Virtual Height Mesh Displacement Popping and Flickering Issue

Hey guys,

I’m having a little issue using the Virtual Height Mesh and Virtual Textures when enabling the displacement mapping on the Virtual Height Mesh itself, and was wondering if anyone has any tips or anything I should look at to fix the problem?

The displacement seems to work perfectly fine except for it looking like it’s popping in between LODs in certain positions of the camera as I move around the scene. At some positions in the camera the flickering and popping stops entirely, whereas at some certain positions it happens more rapidly, and so it varies with different spots of the scene.

Here’s a screen recording of what’s going on in my scene with the Landscape/VirtualHeightMesh displacement atm.

Pls let me know if you guys need any extra info on my scene and I’ll send over whatever you may need to help.

I’m having the same issue, would like to see this thread revived! Did you find the fix?

Sadly no, not yet! I will have to retry this in the newer version released since I’ve posted this!
