UE5 User widget blueprint - what happened?

Can someone please explain the changes to the widget creation blueprint in UE5?

Where are the anchors?
Why can’t I move or scale elements freely after adding them to the canvas?
Why does it only let me place one thing on the canvas?

I am completely at loss, I can’t understand what happened. I’m almost at the point of going to UE4 and creating all my widgets there just so I can migrate them later to the UE5 project.

Just try to add a Canvas panel first, because it is no longer added as default. After that, add you widgets elements as usual. Look at panel category or try a search for canvas.
