I’d like to share the first playable demo of my personal project made in Unreal Engine 5:
Time Worlds – Chapter 1: Escalibur
It’s a third-person action experience with a slightly “soulslike” feel. You start with an initial mission (destroying cursed barrels), receive magical gifts from the Lady of the Lake (dash, magic shield, projectiles) and finally face Mordrath, the boss in an ancient coliseum.
Main features:
– Third-person sword combat (with dash, magic shield and ranged projectiles).
– Real-time cinematics (intro, gifts, boss entrance and ending).
– A new visual entrance to the boss area: stone corridor, fog, skull columns with emissive eyes and whispers.
– Boss fight with multiple attacks and its own health bar.
– HUD for health, stamina and abilities.
Platform: Windows 64-bit
Approx. playtime: 60–80 minutes (depending on how many times you fail the barrel mission
).

I’ve been working on this solo (design, 3D, texturing and Blueprints), so any feedback on gameplay, visuals or performance is really appreciated. I’m especially interested in opinions about:
– The difficulty of the first mission (barrels).
– The feel of the combat and boss patterns.
– General atmosphere (lighting, fog and the new boss entrance corridor).
