UE5 ThirdParty idevice_id.exe Detected as IDP.Generic

UE5 ThirdParty idevice_id.exe was detected as IDP.Generic by AVG. Could this file be a threat or is it a false positive?

A quick web search shows that this “detection” is frequently false positives.

Also: anti-virus programs are 95% snake oil, trying to show that they have value by needlessly scaring users, while actually making the system less secure by patching poorly tested code into low levels of the kernel. If you can get away with Windows Defender (the built-in,) I’d highly recommend it.

I’ll search the Web for more info.

I did a scan of the entire drive and only idevice files were flagged.
