(UE5) Skeletal Mesh goes under skin

(UE 5 Preview 2)
Basically i have a naked metahuman, i modelled some equipment for him and i want that equipment to stay tight on him while following the animations.
After viewing a bunch of tutorials i guess my only option is to use skeletal meshes and thats what i did.
My problem is surely related to Skinning ( which i dont really know how to fix ), so i wanted to know if there was any alternatives for this situation.
