UE5 Roads And Aphalt Materials

Hi guys, i’m discovering Unreal 5.3 and starting to know more about the engine, so i started to make a road with the plane shape, downloaded the asphalt material from Megascans and builded something, i actualy have 3 questions
1º: is there an easier way to make roads then shapes? (i know about splines but they are a little buggy to me)
2º Applying asphalt material is creating several tiles, it’s like the plane has a grid, some guides on youtube teach how to get some randomness but you would have to get another textures, since the material is asphalt i dont think that would work, or would they?
3º I made the shape a lot bigger so i was wondering if there is a way to mantain the quality with some blueprint tool.

That MS texture is big - you can scale it up by about 10x and you don’t notice tiling and it still looks good.
