Why on earth Epic did you move from the UE4 retarget managed system to the UE5 IK rig and Ik retargeting system!!!??? There is zero benefits that UE5 retarget system has over UE4. I really don’t understand why you made perfected engine for 5.0 but belly flop on the retargeting system? I really would like to know why because this is entirely frustrating to want to use UE5 features but want to revert back once retargeting comes around but you can’t obviously, so you might as well start from UE4 to retarget. This is not a good work flow for me… Please straighten out your retarget system or revert back for crying out loud! Edit: I did the math. Normally, if you had one mesh to retarget not a big deal still about 30 mins to hour to setup opposed to few clicks in UE4; I have 39 meshes for one character… Thats 39 or so hours for ONE character because of how the retarget system works. As I said, would not have been a problem in UE4 but here we go 39 IK rigs coming right up UE5!
