UE5 Rendering black screen - atmosphere lit

Scene lit with atmosphere, and works in the viewport, but renders out black.
same issue if the sky light is turned on.
it will render with sun and sky lighting but it doesn’t get the same atmospheric effect.

Any Ideas on why this is happening?
Thanks

maybe you don’t have levels loaded with the lighting in it?
does the atmospheric effect dissapear when you’re in play mode?

Hey thanks for the tip, Good insight!

Didn’t think to test game mode, as I’ve just been setting up levels to render animations from the sequencer.
with the current settings of ‘atmospheric effect’ and ‘post-processing’.
shows as a black screen.
But when the ‘skylight’ it on it works but removes the effect made.
and ‘atmospheric effect’ doesn’t work with ‘Sun and Sky’.

I guess it makes sense that a scene wont render without main lighting,
just a little weird that it shows in viewport. although with previous testing it rendered out before from the sequencer fine, although maybe I have altered some setting since…

I suppose I’d have to turn on ‘Skylight’ and try recreate the style by editing the post- processing.
but so far it disables ‘Atmospheric effect’- may need to try tweak that also…

Thanks for your time Yuu Jin

FIXED- Just deleted the ‘sun and sky’
as turning of visibility wasn’t working in unreal sequencer
duplicated the scene for the daytime version of the scene.
