[UE5] Play video and black screen with (Mobile or android)

Hi, if you are facing the problem where your video plays correctly on (Windows), but shows (Black screen) on Android or mobile device, then you are in the right place.

Solution:
1. Enable plugin (Electra player)

2. Enable plugin - (Android media player)

   

3. In (Media texture) enable (Enable new style output)

   

4. In (Media player material) for (Sampler type) set (Color)
   If you enable (Enable new style output) in (Media texture), you can change to (Color)

   
   
   
   5. When you use (Open source) node in blueprint, you need check (IsReady) for (Media Player) before continue your blueprint logic.
   

5. Make sure that the video files themselves are inside the project so that they are properly packaged (Content/Movies)

   
   • You also need to use proportional videos (1920x1080) or (1080x720), etc.
   • MP4 format
   • Use a program (HandBracke) to correctly decode the video
