Hello everyone, I am a game practitioner from Hangzhou, AND I am a TA. I started to contact UE in 2016, from UE4 to UE5. I am also one of the beneficiaries of the great changes unreal Engine has brought to the industry.
I really like the feel of real-time dynamic light in the engine, which brings great convenience to my creation. Thanks to the powerful content system of Unreal, This project only took me three days, which is an unprecedented improvement in efficiency.
So I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.

I see this is your very first post in our forums! Welcome to the Unreal Engine community!
Thank you so much for sharing your submission! Your project is very picturesque! It’s as if we are watching one of those vintage, beautiful Japanese silk embroidery art pieces come to life.
This is splendid work! It’s remarkable that it had only taken you three days! What did you enjoy most when making this project? Did you have to drink plenty of caffeine to finish this in three days? Will you be making an action cinematic in the future?
Hi, @Get_DOVAH_it ,thank you for your compliments. In fact, I usually work on this project after work, so it should be two nights and one day. I really enjoy the creative process, so once I start making it, I often lose track of time, haha, it also saves me a lot of money on coffee.
Will you be making an action cinematic in the future?
My answer is: sure.In fact, we (me and my other partner, who is also in the Lighting Challenge) have been using Unreal Engine to make short films. Since last year, we have been planning to make one or two short films a year. Here is a link to our short films from last year, It has made great achievements in a competition, using UE4 engine:
At the beginning of this year, we used ue5 early bird version to make a stylized short film. When we used ue5, we were always amazed at its power. This is its link:
This year, our short film program is under way. We hope to make a short film similar to 《tape deck》 with the help of our two people and the powerful ecosystem of unreal engine. This is also our goal for the whole year.
So, I would like to ask, does the Unreal community have any support plans for individual creators like us? Can bring me more convenience.
Thank you so much for sharing the links to your short films! I was astounded by the dark beauty of the first linked video! I really appreciated the subtitles, but even without the subs, the breathtaking visuals, the epic and haunting voiceover, and the remarkable complementary soundtrack evoked the understanding of a devastated populace, hope for a new world, daring exploration, wonder, and potential danger (in that order). This was remarkably done and quite impressive! Amazing work!
The bright environment and the spritely soundtrack of the stylized short film brought about feelings of happiness! The Land of Wind appears to hide within it secrets from the past and sources of powerful magic. The camera shots were very beautiful and further enhanced the wonder of the world.
Thanks again for sharing! I find it exceedingly amazing that this is the work of a two-person team! Our forums are a great place to discuss works in progress. There is also an unofficial Unreal Engine Discord, where some of the Unreal Engine staff frequent.
